Good luck, most car auctions won’t allow the general public into. Most of them are limited to dealers only, so that the dealers can bid on the cars they like and then turn around and sell them for a profit to us normal folks.

Question by flipondizmission: Government auctions? legit deals?
Every day, the government confiscates, seizes and repossesses thousands of Vehicles. Ever wonder where it goes? It’s sold at government auctions at HUGE DISCOUNTS through “seizure and surplus” laws! These vehicles are usually typically listed at 90% OFF their original value and auctions usually start at $ 100.You WILL NOT buy a quality car cheaper anywhere else!
Why So Cheap?
Because it’s stuff the government just can’t keep! The government can’t afford to store these items. They actually lose money unless someone buys it fast. For you bargain shoppers out there, we are confident that once you have gotten your first taste of government auctions, shopping will never be the same.Because it’s more than just cars. Nearly anything you can imagine is on sale.
is this a scam? because theres link to websites it says to go and they say u have to pay to be a member in order to view the car..crap…how about police impounds?

Its a rip off. They charge you a fee to provide you with information that you can find for free if you know where to look. Contact your local municipality and they should be able to direct you to the appropriate department.

Question by deployedbride: How do I find home government sales/auctions in my area?
I saw this informercial about buying houses in government tax sales/auctions, but how do you find them. Apparently the previous owner foreclosed and did not pay property tax, so the gov’t then sells the house in an auction. But where are these so-called auctions?

look on line for the city and state you want…..say it’s dallas texas
You search for dallas texas court house…..then tax sales…that will tell you when the house list will appear in the local paper and when the sale is on the court house steps. do www.anywho.com and find the number for the court house you need…they will give you info on everything you need…and a short tutorial for what you need to do. you can buy outside of your area if you find some local person wishing to sponsor you.
