Here we have: Arne Vodder Style Teak Lounge Chair

Condition: Excellent (see item description for details)

Dimensions:
31" wide across arms, 25" deep
31" high to back, 16" high to seat

Item Description:
If you haven’t already bookmarked our auctions, do so now!

We have acquired an estate full of high quality teak furniture & accessories by such names as J.L. Moller, Peter Hvidt, Arne Vodder, etc. We will be listing these pieces over the next few weeks and you’ll find something for every room in your home. The more you buy, the more you save on shipping!

Featured here is a rare teak lounge chair made ca. 1960s, manufacturer unknown. Looks like an Arne Vodder design, but I can’t find any manufacturer or designer marks.

This chair shows fine craftsmanship and superior design with a solid teak frame that features wide scooping arms. The graining is beautiful and there’s a slight texture to the teak on the arms. The upholstery is a beige patterned wool.

It’s in excellent original condition for its age with only some minor surface scratching and scuffing, which is hardly noticeable. The bottom of the feet have holes in them, which leads me to believe that there were castors on them at one point. Install some new ones or leave it as-is, you’ll never notice it anyway.

The upholstery is in good condition as well with only minor signs of use and some fraying near the headrest. The foam feels ok and holds its shape just fine.

A rare find and fine addition to your Danish or Mid-Century Modern inspired home. See our other auctions for a signed Vodder lounge chair and matching ottoman among numerous other items being listed over the next few weeks. We combine on shipping.

Here we have: Arne Vodder Reclining Lounge Chair

Condition: Excellent (see item description for details)

Dimensions:
31" wide across arms, 34" deep
35" high to back, 12" high to front of frame (add 4.5" for cushions)

Item Description:
If you haven’t already bookmarked our auctions, do so now!

We have acquired an estate full of high quality teak furniture & accessories by such names as J.L. Moller, Peter Hvidt, Arne Vodder, etc. We will be listing these pieces over the next few weeks and you’ll find something for every room in your home. The more you buy, the more you save on shipping!

Featured here is a rare teak lounge chair designed by Arne Vodder ca. 1960s for France and Son, Denmark. Metal label is present on frame.

A very impressive example of fine Danish design, this chair features a solid sculptured teak frame from top to bottom with original spring slats on the seat. It reclines in three different postions and is very comfortable in all of them. The arms are wide and solid and show wonderful graining.

The upholstery is a textered beige wool and may or may not be original, hard to tell for sure.

It’s in excellent original condition for its age. There is a small section of damage on the front side of the frame (about 1/2" in diameter) that you can only see when the cushions are removed. Besides that, all I could find were a few flea bites and minor surface scratches that hardly take away from the charm of this piece.

The upholstery is in good condition as well with only minor signs of use. The foam feels ok and holds its shape just fine.

A rare find and fine addition to your Danish or Mid-Century Modern inspired home. See our other auctions for a similar armchair and matching ottoman among numerous other items being listed over the next few weeks. We combine on shipping.

Found auctions sales in ontario in t-shirt ideas for an auction company?

auctions sales in ontario:

Auctions Sales

Question by •tasty•: t-shirt ideas for an auction company?
we are thinking of making a promotional t-shirt to maybe sell for charity and/or give out as prizes and to some ‘hi-bidders’ who have made big purchases at some of our big sales…

we want them to be fun and creative but also something that they would like to wear in public… our company is called Great West Auctions and we are located in southwestern ontario…

we are trying to think of a witty one liner that people would like we do auctions from everyday household stuff to real estate to antiques to farms and farm machinery… so we want the shirt to apply to all of the different types of auctions we do…

the only almost good thing i’ve come up with is
“can’t keep my hands in my pockets at a Great West Auction!”

please comment with any and every idea you have anything would be great
thanks in advance!
